Greta is doing better…they are monitoring her coma state and she is showing signs that she is very very slightly aware of what is going on around her.
I think she is still on a ventilator…I was tucking the kids in when the update call came in. My Grandparents are coming home for the evening but my aunt is staying down there with my aunt and uncle and cousins.
The doctor said, “Now we are just waiting for her to wake up” – they say it will take a day or two.
We are not sure of any damage or side effects.
But Praise God she is expected to wake up. Praise God.
praise God indeed Ang~
wondering how you’ve been…..
the farm hopefully is relaxing as always…….how nice for you to actually have a little getaway like that…..do they have a name for their place?
Yes! Praise God! This is good news.
Thanks for putting this up. We were just asking each other if there was any news.
Thank you Lord for keeping her safe so far. God knows what will happen next. Good thing we can trust Him. Good thing.
I have shared Greta’s prayerful needs with my husband and children. We are all praying for Greta and all of you. May God be praised that she is improving. It is never easy to have such an abrupt and frightening experience intrude on our lives — but that is when God’s Almighty power and majesty seem to outshine the little things in life that seem to captivate our attention.
I am on bended knee right beside you.
p.s.
I read often, comment seldom. BUT . . . my family has been praising the Lord for your husband’s recent job and the wonderful barter arrangement with your midwife. God is so good. Because you have opened up and shared I am able to carry on the message of God’s goodness in answering all of our needs with you as an illustration. We are all excited to see what God is doing in your lives. To Him be the Glory in all.
My prayers are with you in so many areas. God bless you.
Good news! Maybe she’s out danger now. Thank the Lord! And thank YOU for letting us help you pray and see the hand of God work!
Sending positive thoughts Greta’s way

aww thanks be to our God and Father of our Lord Jesus. I just think of that song tonight after reading your post. Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus. Just to take him at his word.Just to know that thou art with me. just to know. Thus saith the Lord. I know there’s alot of old english there, but that song just stirs my faith in this matter.Jesus bless you,
Deborah
That is great news. Praise God!
Ang, I just made the connection between you and little Greta. Greta’s Angels left me a comment on my blog. I will check on her. God bless your family as you wait…
I prayed for Greta… yes, our faith in what Jesus has done on the cross can give us peace and hope whatever our circumstances are. I’m glad you have that faith to cling to.
I am lifting her up and grateful for the good news. And I keep praying for her recovery.
Thank you for your sweet comments on my blog!
I have quietly been following your blog for a little while now and wanted to let you know you will be in my prayers.
