It’s that time again! Time to plug in the TV once a week…The long, but thank the Lord it’s only three months season without NASCAR is over!
Tomorrow is the Budweiser Shootout!
The “Parisienne” side of me will take a back seat as I enjoy this petal to the metal shootout for a million dollars!

Joel has been working tons of hours again since his little baby break and we are desperate to hang out together as a family. Rumor has it that extended family may be dropping by…they’re gonna have to put up with us as we kick off the NASCAR season. Aidan will probably have his jumpsuit on and he is VERY concerned that the baby doesn’t have anything “88” to wear…in fact, we are all due for a little Amp/National Guard gear around here! All I have is my gorgeous red leather Bud jacket…boohoo. I can’t hardly wear it anymore, it makes me so sad…wearing a green Mountain Dew Amp jacket just won’t feel as cool!
If you hear me scream, it’s cause Junior won! We think he is going to have a much better season this year and if he doesn’t, that’s OK too. We love “Ju” no matter what!

Very excited about the Superbowl, Daytona, the Vancover Olympics, Amazing Race AND Survivor on the big screen we keep plugged in continuously. (Just wait until you’re retired and your kids have all moved away. , you’ll see.) Did I just say that?

OH YES~ What a weekend this one is!!!!!! My DH says that THIS is Dale Jr.’s year and I hope that’s true…he just got his piggy bank out and rolled $300 in change to buy some tickets maybe to Talladega,
we’ll see. I HOPE this is his NIGHT!!!! Can’t wait!
