Sunday Morning…

This morning…
Well, we didn’t attend church.
Bodies aching (more on that in my next post) we slept in thanks to our saintly children who play so well while we rest, then we walked into town to the bakery for sinful apple fritters and stopped at the park.
It was a perfect couple of hours.
I am debating purging on the rest of my day, an exhausted Momma rant… perhaps I’ll share tomorrow.
In the meantime here’s an example of my crazy music tastes, A little Johnny and if he brings you down, I’ll bring you back up with a little No Doubt – Two songs I love!
These are two songs I LOVE!

  1. à la parisienne

I just love family days…no list of “to dos” just lazily spending the day together. Apple fritters and a day at the park sounds delightful. It looks like your kids enjoyed it quite well!

  2. Old Centennial Farmhouse

Every now and then, you just have to let go of the “expected” and do the unexpected! Your kids look wonderful, and those little sunglasses crack me up! It looks like the garden is going in! Yahoo!!

  3. Renata

Family time is such fun! We actually went away Sunday & Monday for some family time before we officially started term 2 today & Dave returned to work. It was wonderful just spending some relaxed time together as a family with no distractions!
    Have a great week

  4. Beth - In My World...

Your little angels are the living end! I believe sometimes missing Church for some quality family and rest is time well spent. God knows what we need and sometimes we just need a little down time.

However, I am VERY curious for your next post!
