Children have the most sincere concerns.
But sometimes when they bring them to you it’s difficult to refrain from falling on the floor in laughter. As was the case with Amélie yesterday when she came to me,
her little heart heavy…
Amélie: Momma, I wish Princess Katherine’s head wouldn’t get cut-ted off.
Me (holding it together): Oh no sweetheart, that’s what happened to Marie Antoinette!
Amélie (much relieved): Oh yeah, yeah.
Hhahahahahh!! a big smile on my face from ear to ear……xxx…
Too cute! I’ll bet that was a very relieved sigh. 😉
Have a wonderfully blessed day!
This is hilarious! Sounds like the forerunner for an American Revolution numéro deux if our government ever tries to go “royal” on us!

How many children Amelie’s age know of Marie Antoinette and her terrible fate? What a crack up! Don’t tell her about King Henry the VIII wives – several of them were named Katherine and that would be very confusing. 🙂
Oh that is too, too funny. How stinkin’ adorable is Miss Amelie.
Cute!! That put a smile on my face on a dreary Monday morning!
Have a great day!
How precious…I would have loved to have seen her face!
Oh the things that kids say….funny.
