SCREW Exit Polling!!!

Nov 5, 2008 | Uncategorized | 9 comments

Whatever the final outcome is “Exit Polling” should be regarded for what it is…CRAP!  Fox, CNN, is all based on pitiful numbers – slide your mouse over a state on Fox and it says something like “.008% Precincts reporting”

And HOW discouraging could that be to the poor slob on the other side of the country who just got off work and is exhausted and is considering, “Do I really want to take the time to vote?”
Anyone else want to IChat?  This is fun and torture all at the same time!
It’s only 8:30 and it could be a long night…I wish those stupid morons in Grant Park were standing around in sleeting rain.  What a bunch of cool-aid drinking, hand-out hungry IDIOTS!
PS- I have been told my purple finger was lost on some of you – That is what the Iraqis did to show proudly that they had voted.

Hello, I have been visiting your blog for a few months and really love it. I love your political talk. I totally agree. Screw the exit polls. Well, the election has been called now for Obama. I loved looking at your blog and seeing “vive capitalism.” Here’s to keeping our noses to the grindstone, working for what we have and donating to the charities or people we choose to. There was a clip played on Fox News and Sean Hannity’s radio show of a young woman leaving the polls and screaming “I never thought it would happen! I won’t have to worry now about putting gas in my car or paying my mortgage! I just gave to Obama and he’ll give to me!” WHAT?????? I like this quote but don’t know who said it. “Any government that is capable of giving you everything you need is also powerful enough to take away everything you have.” Did people actually vote for Obama because they have it in their heads he is going to put gas in their cars and pay their mortgages????!!! This is terrifying beyond belief. Thanks for your commentary. I really enjoy it. Sincerely, Patti Hill from Livonia, Michigan

Hi, this is Norell. I used to be a part of the Waltmire family. I know your mother fairly well. I stumbled across her blog and your blog as well, and have been fascinated with your pictures and lovely home decorating ideas and inspired by your gardening and canning skills. But lately, I noticed lots of political stuff and it was all very negative, so I just stopped reading. Well, I stopped back in today, and I’d just like to say that I am offended. I thought about not saying anything at all, but I really thought you should know that I was one of those people you reffered to as “cool-aid drinking, hand-out hungry idiots” wishing I was standing in Grant Park. It was historic and amazing. As your candidate, McCain, stated the fight is over, we need to stand together now. But just like the rude, ungracious losers at the McCain convention, I’m sure you were booing too, and now you are making personal attacks on people you don’t even know, instead of thinking of ways we can all try to get along and work to make our country better. McCain was gracious in his loss, maybe you should follow his example. Thank you for insulting me. I don’t plan to read your blog anymore, as I’d rather not be offended anymore. I’d just like to add one last note, as a Christian, you should really consider if the way you speak of politics and democrates is the way Jesus would. Take care.

Hi, I just read the comment from Norell. Please don’t take her advice and try not to offend anybody. If you can’t say what you want on your own blog, God help us all. Maybe Norell doesn’t know the antics of the Obama campaign with trying to keep people quiet that tried to find out things about him and report them. Wonder what he’ll do with all his power now. I just saw a pop-up on my computer “walk away from your debt legally.” What is this country coming to???? Keep up the good work. No political correctness here please!!! Sincerely, Patti Hill from Livonia Michigan

Ang, it’s Norell again. I thought about what I said and my reaction was harsh and rude and I apologize. Patti is right on, this is America, and we have the freedom of speech. It’s not my place to judge what you write on your own page, and I’m very sorry I did so. God bless you.

Pro/con or “who cares”, the point is to each his own and let’s all just be the best people we can be, individually and together! be a good neighbor, momma, friend, daughter and sibling and you’ll always feel proud of your achievements. The President does not define us as Americans or individuals, our actions DO! lOVE, KERRY DELANEY
