Thanks so much everyone for your encouragement and response to my “Blue” post.
You were all so thoughtful and funny! What sweet girls you are… I read all your comments this morning as we were blanketed with a fresh batch of snow… ironic.
Trust me, I do have all the garden catalogs spread out before me…. carefully planning and planning! And the next sunny day I will venture out for a long walk to soak up some Vitamin D, I don’t care how cold it is!
I am so excited for my Potager 101 course that you by now have seen on my sidebar that I am going to bump it up from “late February” to February! So, what better way to chase away the blues than with a little giveaway! Nothing fancy, sorry no gorgeous French linens…
Potager 101 is going to be my humble & creative attempt to help seasoned gardeners and newbee’s alike! We will cover recommended reading, garden design, seed selection, starting seeds, transplanting, pest control and more! If you have ever wanted healthier food at your fingertips planted in beauty now is your chance!
I will even help you design your very own Potager if you would like help!
Email me for more info!
But I would love help spreading the word! So….
Here is how to enter…
For one entry – leave a comment
For two entries – become a follower if you haven’t already.
For three entries – Grab my Widget and post it to your sidebar for the month of February.
(Feel free to just drag and drop it, I don’t like posting that ugly HTML…make it any size you want on your sidebar. I happen to like them bigger. If you are totally new to blogging and don’t know how I will gladly help you.)
For four entries – Go for broke & write a little post, using the widget/photo about your excitement for “Potager 101”
So, yes, you are understanding correctly, you could have as many as 10 entries!
The winner will receive a copy of one of my favorite Gardening books,
and a copy of an old favorite Magazine of mine…
Even if you are not a gardener both are lush and lovely to look at and the Edible French Garden has wonderful recipes!!!!
You can mention what you have done in your comment! (one)
Giveaway will close Monday Night January 31st Midnight Central Standard Time
and the winner will be announced next week in the first “Potager 101” post~!
I am so looking forward to your potager series! I’m a wanna-be gardener, but don’t know where to start. Making it even more difficult, much of our town was built on old coal mines, so the soil is not the best. I’ll be gone for your first post, but will catch up when I am home again.
Yay, I’m already a happy follower!!!!
I just placed the button on the blog sidebar. Yes, I want to win!
I’m a follower already…
Well, I must admit I had to go look up what a “potager” is….so sorry, I’m not a French enthusiast..don’t hold it against me though. ♥ :0)
Anyhow, it seems to simply be a beautiful veggie garden possibly surrounded by decorative fencing, shrubs, etc. Sounds exactly like what I’d like to do in a small spot of my yard.
So will it be a daily post discussing different aspects?
Stephanie ♥
I’ll also place your button on my blog!

Beautiful giveaway, Angela!
I would early love to have a potager on our new property.
Although I could never do it as well as you, my gifted friend!
Hugs,
Anne
I’ve been hoping you would do a gardening tutorial. I’m moving to my first house in the late spring, and can’t wait to start my own potager.

And I would love help in planning a Potager!
I am totally looking forward to your potager series.
I love to garden and to learn more about them, and the photo’s of your garden always look gorgous.
Last week I had to pull everything out of mine, as we have had so much rain (that has lead to all the floods in Queensland Australia) that all the gardens here have nearly drowned.
I find garden planning a big lift when I feel blue…
blessings,
Selina.
I am so thrilled about this! I just told my hubby that I wanted to maybe plant a garden, but was just not sure I could do it the right way. Now I can just follow your series. Yay!

I am now a follower!
Oh, PLEASE sign me up!
I have had a small container garden for the past two years, and this spring, we’re tearing into the earth baby! No more itty bitty jardin…Okay it will still be somewhat small. I am also planning to add a small rose garden next to it! Before Amelia was born, I used to have some gorgeous flower beds, then I quit spending time on them and then, well, we quit wanting to spend the money to water them! Needless to say, my garden and it’s surrounding areas on the only green patches in my yard in the late brutally hot/dry summer months.

Follower- check!
And, yes, I need some more French recipes.
I guess I’m a real Neanderthal, but how do you “grab your button”?
I’d like to have it on my diddly little blog. I just want the button. I don’t want to win though, because I only have a few pots on my deck, with mostly dead plants at the moments. It should go to someone who is a real gardener.
Thank you Angela. I DID it! (with your help)
BTW, I’m a Mac, too. We are all Mac all the time! When my daughter was given a PC (a.k.a. Piece-O’-Crap) at work, she pasted one of those little white apples over the Dell Logo. Yes, we are Macs.
I’m looking forward to your potager series. I have lots to learn and those books look like wonderful (and pretty) resources. Would love to win them! 🙂
I’m hosting my own (very first) giveaway right now too. Fun!
Ok, this is definitely something I’ve been wanting to do! I can’t wait to learn from your potager series.
Thanks for the chance to win this wonderful giveaway!
Blessings

How fun!! We are in the midst of hopefully purchasing a new/old home and if we are blessed enough to get it.. I can’t wait to do an AMAZING garden there. Looking forward to following along.
I’m a follower of yours
I’m grabbing the button today and putting it on my side bar!
I’ve got to get off the computer this morning, but plan on doing a post this weekend about the Potager 101!!
Have a wonderful weekend!
I dream of a garden with fresh produce coming into out home from the back door. Sadly, living in the city unless I want to do raised beds (and we have a backyard the size of a one car garage) I would have to get the soil tested like crazy before planting anything in it.
And I’ve always followed in the sense that I have a link to you on my blog and I would check that every day, but now I’ve added myself as a public follower!
Ohhhh, I love potager gardens. I’m planning on adding more flowers to vegetable garden this spring – a cutting garden in order to sell flowers (and some for me, too, of course!). I have a book which I’ve enjoyed, Designing The New Kitchen Garden, a book about potager gardens, but I’d love to read more about the subject! So count me in for the drawing, PLEASE!
I’m a follower – never sure if already being a follower counts or not, but I’m hoping!
Wow, this series sounds wonderful, as does your giveaway! I’ve enjoyed browsing your lovely blog this morning!
Angela, I just did a blog post that will appear on Saturday!
Angela this is so exciting!
I am a follower and would adore these books!!

Hello! I’ve added your button…looking forward to it, and a happy dance is good 😉
There is nothing small about this giveaway. Often the smaller monetary value is worth the most. This giveaway makes my heart beat faster! Thanks for such a thoughtful giveaway.

Congratulations on your well-deserved magazine cover shout-out. Is that right? Anyway – it’s obvious to me why they chose your blog. :0) I have been looking for “The Edible French Garden” at the library with no success. My interest is definitely piqued.
I just found your site, I’m really enjoying your style. What luck that you are hosting such a wonderful giveaway. I love to garden, and am focusing on edibles- what could be better than beautiful AND edible?
