Parisienne Farmgirl Giveaway!

It’s about that time.
It’s been over six months since my last giveaway… and don’t worry, there are no baby names to guess this time just the typical, leave a comment… become a follower entries.
What will I be giving away?
Well, I thought, Four things that describe “Parisienne Farmgirl.”
1st, For all you “Parisiennes”: One of my favorite French lifestyle/cook books.
Joie de Vivre by Robert Arbor.  This book is the source of my inspiration for my instant jam, roast chicken, lamb and much more.  It’s full of things I firmly believe in; taking time to eat, knowing where your food comes from and flavor, flavor, flavor!!!

2nd, For the “Farmgirls” at heart:  Sweet Land.  I have five favorite movies of all time.  Gone with the Wind, Moulin Rouge, Amélie, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
Sweet Land.  (How ironic that they all deal with Parisian or Farm life!)
I may have blogged about Sweet Land before but, a mon avis (in my opinion), it is the most tender, simple, charming love story of our generation.  I almost die with my desire for a farm every time I watch it and the opening line…
“Let us hope that we are preceeded in this world by a love story.”
…makes me cry every time.

Here’s a Teaser (that DOES NOT do it justice!):
3rd, for the Parisiennes and the Farmgirls:
An herbal bouquet similar to this one, made with my hands, with herbs from the Parisienne Farmhouse Potager.  Thyme, Rosemary, Lavender, Yarrow, Feverfew, Sage and more.  All organically grown.  Very fragrant.  Trés charment.
What do you think?  Should I have these for sale at P.F.??

4th, it would not be a giveaway without a bar of my luxurious, hand cut, Bain par Main Bath by Hand Shea Butter and Lavender Soap.  Always available at Parisienne Farmhouse and soon to be featured in other online shoppes as well!

SO that’s it.

&, of course, you should sell the little herb bouquets, they are lovely & timeless. You know I’m a follower & I will post about your giveaway today. sending love to you & little one…

  2. Darn these giveaways for which I am probably not eligible – such lovely things but I don’t expect you to post them to Aussie and you could not post the herbal bouquet or the lavender soap because it would be seized by quarantine but just in case you are prepared to include an overseas follower the book and the movie really appeals!
My 100th post is coming up soon and such perfect timing as a company in your country has offered me a giveaway – thing is they only post to US/Canada so I can only offer it to my friends in America! Ironic – I was sighing at all the lovely homewares today deciding which ones to feature. So keep an eye out for my 100th post as you will be eligible… I’m going to my favourite little local shop which sells gorgeous European home wares tomorrow to find something to offer my friends here.
P.S I received a surprise parcel from France yesterday – my husband bought me copper pots from Provence. I am so spoiled!

  3. Such nice goodies… each and every one! I really think you should start selling those lovely herbal bouquets. Perfect! I’m a fairly new follower… and enjoying your blog so much. Thank you for all that you share! -Tammy

  11. What a fantastic and generous give a way!!

I too love the movie Sweetland. The scene where they are laying in the corn field after weeks of exhausting harvest, working side by side without being able to understand each others language is such a sweet example of working side by side as a team to create a strong foundation for a good marriage.

I’m going to have to check that book out, never heard of it before but it sounds wonderful.
