I am sure there are at least 5 ladies that are breathing a sigh of relief this morning.
The sale is over and it was wonderful but oh my – the work!
Anne Marie’s story of Bridgette came beautifully to life as she transformed her barn into a conservatory… it was cozy, warm and stunning.  Guests entered under a candlelit chandelier, into the conservatory, where the were served pumpkin soup (out of a pumpkin!), homemade pretzels and of course champagne!
This time was a little different for me as Hubby’s days off did not coordinate with the sale, I had the baby with me and could not even attend the 2nd day on account of no child care… I was so bummed.  Friday was great though and with Juliette on my hip I watched the ladies line up at the Farm gate full of anticipation.
It was a great sale… the macarons, herbal bouquets and my new soap formula were a hit and so I was thrilled!  I took it easy this time on my sale ables as we had a busy late summer with Joel’s dad’s illness and passing and our first month of homeschooling… it was the right decision for our family but I would have loved to have had some painted furniture and collectibles to display.  Sorry about my lame photos – hard to shoot with my 1/2 ton camera while holding a baby…
The merchandising of the sale was gorgeous and it’s amazing what Anne Marie can do to a horse barn.  If you missed it, you can still visit Shop the Shed in a couple weeks and of course keep an eye on the Nada Farm Events website for her next amazing soirée!!!!
You’ll never forget it!
