I have ALWAYS wanted to make a gingerbread house but seeing that that would probably be a daunting task 4 days before my Christmas party I decided to get my feet wet with a tiny Gram Cracker scene. I thought I was going to put Martha to shame but it was much more tedious than I expected…ah, next year.
Hey, tell babycakes that I heard on the news that an airplane pilot spotted Santa’s sleigh on it’s way in from New York City.

holy cow, we started making on 2 years ago with the kids and they are SO much fun. We tried graham cracker this year and it just wasn’t working out, I am SO impressed that you got it to look so nice. We did gingerbread!!!
You now know why I never encouraged this feat when y’all were little…I think the Frey Christmas pastries would put Martha to shame what with Aunt Ruth and her tenacity (rolling out dough and all)…those twisties that put on pounds as you decide if you’re having one or not…the Rum cake that flows freely out of this farm kitchen, hot fudgy pudding that flows freely from your farm kitchen, Gramma B’s cinnamon rolls larger that life because I add an extra package of yeast, and on and on it goes….let Martha do the “houses”
Le Village ‘du’ BonBons… non?
I might be wrong, but I think it’s ‘du’.
