Jehovah Jireh!

“The Lord will provide!”

Today SN dropped off a bag of hand-me-downs that are going to come in great use around here. Jammies, jammies and more jammies and a nice warm fleece snow suit among other things. These regular bags of clothes are always such a blessing and give me the chance to shop on rare occasion at Janie and Jack with little or no guilt.
I can’t wait to pass on hand-me-downs to my family…siblings, cousins…chop, chop while these clothes are still in style!

I used to freak out about “things” – who would buy us what we needed for a baby, how can we afford the health insurance, where will the next job come from?

It is a complete and utter waste of time to NOT trust God. From stupid people in our lives (funkadelica.blogspot.com), to babies with “SupraventricularTacicardia”, to how to pay the mortgage this winter when no one wants their house painted. What a waste of time.

His name is JEHOVAH JIREH! He has to provide. It is in his very nature.

After five years of every way you can try to have a baby our friends are due in 3 weeks, Nic’s McNair money came in, Nic has a girlfriend, Mom and Don rented their old store location, Gram came out of her surgery OK, we got the biggest job our little company ever has and it seems as though we might be able to pay the mortgage ahead thru Christmas thanks to some more recent proposal approvals, and Aidan has lots of new jammies to run around these old wooden floors this winter. I could go on and on but I will instead write to words to a favorite song from church from my childhood…

Jehovah Jireh
My Provider
His strength is sufficient for me!

My God shall provide all my needs,
According to his riches in glory,
He will give his angels charge over me!

Jehovah Jireh cares for me!
