It was always going to be “Diana Frances.”
Even before that horrible August 31st. But Joel did not care for it and I could not figure out how I would ever find a name that I could love as much…that is until we took Céline and Michael’s recommendation to see a very charming little movie playing a half hour away…named…you guessed it…Amélie…From “Lady Dee” to Paris, from Garden Gnomes to Zorro, this movie was made for me. And if you don’t own the soundtrack…well, you’ve never heard music.
I absolutely love this film. I watched it over five times so that I could understand everything, and didn’t miss a detail. I have the soundtrack and it is absolutely charming, the music is Paris alive! I can understand why you love the name too!
Rebecca Ramsey is my new best friend, she just doesn’t know it, yet!
Carra – how wonderfully put, “The music is Paris alive”
When people tell me that the director used filters and “that’s not really what Paris looks like” I simply say, “That’s what it looks like in my heart.”
