Happy Mothers Day!

May 8, 2011 | On Motherhood | 13 comments

Happy Mothers Day to you all.
All you sacrificing, hard working, battling, praying, trying, beautifying Mothers.
To those who grieve because they are not yet or can not be Mothers I pray God’s comfort for you today.  Trite words I am sure – but sincere from me to you.
To the Momma’s may I encourage you that what you are doing DOES matter.
Each meal,
each sock picked up,
each tear wiped
and story read.
Your time is an investment and is not wasted.
DO NOT believe the lie that it is.
Here’s my P.R. le Quatrieme from Friday’s ultrasound.
Check out the OPEN eyes looking right at you!
Don’t ever think that the “last” baby isn’t just as wonderful as the first.
Every pregnancy should be celebrated
just like it is for a first time Mom!!!
Check out the OPEN eyes looking right at you!
I am sooooooooooooooooooooooo in love.

Oh, how exciting to be able to see your baby already. No such ability when I had mine. What an amazing world we live in.
May God bless you and your family on this Mother’s Day

My boys are teens now, but I can still remember the first little kick they gave me. How could you not fall in love. They make me proud every day.
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY, to you Angela, all the moms, moms to be, mom hopefuls, and caregivers!

Thank you for remembering those who have not yet had the opportunity to be called “mother”. God filled my own ache to be a mother through adoption 3 different times and what JOY!!! Born in the heart and prayer rather than the womb! But only after years of sadness in this area. And now my oldest is 18 year old and such lovely lady! LADY!! Can’t believe it… time has flown. For those longing to be mothers, nothing is impossible with God. May He bless you through adoption, through the womb, or BOTH!

Hope you enjoyed your Mother’s Day Ang. Bet you were thoroughly spoiled! Guess what I am receiving as my gift this year? It did not arrive in time for Mother’s Day as it’s coming from the States. Looking forward to seeing your home gracing the pages of a book that will soon be sitting on my coffee table here in Australia – oh the anticipation!

  11. Beth - In My World...

I am so very, very happy for you! I know what you mean – I have three children who have blessed me beyond what I ever thought I deserved. My own sister (who chose to have an only-child) said she could not imagine loving another as much as her first. Really? I can’t even get my head around that. I never knew my heart could love so many as big and deep as it does – I am blessed.

I watched your ultrasound video about 10 times–amazing! And the baby’s mouth was moving… just incredible. I have a friend that had an abortion over 30 years ago. I want to tell her she has a child in heaven and she actually is a Mother. Although I know if I said that, she would be very angry. You are a blessed Mother!

  13. Just a Girl

Congratulations, I am SO happy for you!! Each new baby is indeed a miraculous blessing, I don’t see how anyone couldn’t understand that! 🙂

I found your words so comforting, thank you. I cannot yet be a Mommy, but work full-time to get my husband through school. I am glad to have a good job (nannying cute kiddos), but am really struggling lately, I just want to stay home and have my own babies. I’ve been working the three years we’ve been married so far, and have at least one or two more to go. I hope to be just like you one day, I do admire you and your accomplishments! 🙂 We plan on homeschooling too!

Thank you for all of the beauty and love you share on your blog, I truly appreciate and love it! 🙂
