For Just a Few Hours

I am (will be) without words.

I had a post that I yanked off last night – it was SCATHING to say the least.  I thought perhaps I should let my blood cool to a medium boil before leaving it up.
That’s all I can say right now except I hope the “Messiah” fulfills all your ridiculous expectations.

I hear you. God help us all. All I can think is that people will come to their senses, rise up, and see what they’ve done and undo it somehow.

I read your post last night before you took it off (chalk it up to fate and me being a scrapaholic late at night!) and I second exactly what you said. I think a lot of us are still walking around today in shock and disbelief. He said last night a Change Has come….. Do the American people who voted him into office, realize, in full capacity, what they have just done? No. But, They will soon enough. No good is going to come of this. People need to be fearful of what’s about to happen in the next 4 years. And they need to be extremely angry as well. And that’s my 2 cents. xo Sher

    Hi,
I have follow edyour mother’s blog and I absolutely adore her. She has left me some wonderful comments but I have deleted mine. I am so devastated by everything that I don’t even want to spend my time blogging anymore…..I need to spend more time in the Word. People are so lost and yesterday proves it. Give my love to your mom. Thank you for your boldness, you do shine through all the garbage.

Personally, I think we got what we asked for. Like in the old testament, when the people wanted a king. I think a LOT, if not all of this is the church’s fault. If we had been doing what He has called us to do, that is the Great Commission, we would have turned this nation upside down by now. 2 Chronicles 7 anyone???? God have mercy.

I got to read that post via bloglines this morning. You are one passionate lady, my friend. But, I agree with you. I was very troubled last night and found it very difficult to sleep. I think the most powerful thing we can do at this point is to be in prayer for our country and its new leadership. Keep sharing your views. You are so articulate and brave.

If you’ll send me your address, I’ll send you Joel Rosenberg’s book. You should read it.
