Easy Deodorant Recipe

How about an Easy Deodorant Recipe?

So, I am an Amazon.  (Yes, I’m an Amazon Affiliate and when you shop Amazon by heading there way THRU my blog it supports the time invested into Parisienne Farmgirl).

BUT-

That’s not what I mean.  Just a great excuse for a shameless, grocery-money making plug.

I’m an Amazon.   I mean it in the Shakespearean sense of the word.

Though I’m not tall.  In fact.  I consider myself rather short at 5′ 4″.

Amazonian in that… I can get my sweat on.  I mean, me and a white t-shirt?  Yeah, that relationship would last about two weeks and then we parted ways.

Until I learned this trick from my sister.

Are you ready for it?

Or do you want me to shame you with horror stories of how much crap and breast cancer causing ingredients are in your deodorant?

Non?

I didn’t think so.

You ready?

Here it is.

The cheapest, most natural deodorant on the planet.

Yeap.

A cut lime.

seriously??!! I spend time melting beeswax and crap for mine and it’s that easy/ GRRR. Although…with California’s water shortage limes are sometimes almost a buck a piece…

Okay, that’s insanely simple. I bet it would burn right after shaving, non?
I wonder if lime essential oil would do the same? Maybe put a couple of drops in a glass spray bottle with a pinch of epsom salt??
I’m giving this a try because I love the smell of limes and I always have them on hand.

I love limes. That would get really pricey for me, though. I put vodka in a spray bottle with lemongrass essential oil (good for flushing they lymph system) and use that . I’m sure lime essential oil would be the same.

I’ve used a blend for homemade deodorant that has lemongrass in it, and I think it works well too.

Oh, that made me laugh. There are two things I covet… women in their twenties and a few extra inches!
