Our Old World English Country cottage is a beautiful walk from the turquoise waters of Europe Lake and a five-minute drive from the shores of Lake Michigan. It’s close enough to great restaurants, coffee shops, and antique stores, but private enough that you’ll be able to enjoy the silence and Wisconsin birdsong. Step outside onto your private deck at night to enjoy a stunning display of the Milky Way as the cottage is quite near a protected dark zone, making star gazing at its finest.
The Elizabeth –
The master bedroom features a comfortable king- sized bed dressed in organic cotton sheets and cozy quilts. The walls are painted a soothing cream with navy wainscoting to add to that cottage feel. An antique Persian rug will keep your feet comfortable, as will the two luxurious bathrobes provided for you to use during your stay. With views of the prairie and forest and its own private bathroom with shower, this room is set apart from the others for extra privacy. A dresser and armoire are situated to store your belongings, and there is a reading corner for catching up on your favorite book. Like the Queen herself, this room is timeless, and regal with the perfect touches of practical to make you feel right at home.
The Diana –
Vibrant and a little rebellious, just like everyone’s favorite princess, this room is painted in chartreuse with touches of dark teal pulled right from the fabrics of the down throw pillows. The antique, queen-sized brass bed is dressed in U.S. grown organic cotton sheets and soft blue linen from Belgium. There is a large built-in cabinet for storing baggage, a dresser, and a large closet as well. This bedroom is steps from the bathroom and features gorgeous views of the prairie and forest.
The Catherine –
This bedroom is sunny and cheerful, just like the Duchess. Featuring twin iron beds dressed in organic cotton sheets and charming antique chenille bedspreads, each bed has two pillows for extra comfort. This room is spacious and private at the end of the hall. There is a rug for little ones who may want to put together a puzzle or play dominos. It also features a closet and dresser for belongings and its own access to the second bath.
