I wish.
I love Paris in the Winter when it drizzles…
I have had the pleasure of seeing it snow in Paris though. One afternoon I walked out of the Opéra Garnier only to find the city covered in light, fluffy snow.
Why is snow horrible here in the Chicago suburbs but trés romantique there?
I am slowly but surely scanning my photos from my month in Paris.. finally…
can you guess what I’m working on?
Hmmmm….
Hmmmm….
I took a break from the project this morning and had a little fun editing these photos so we could all dream of Christmas is Paris.
I can’t wait to return… how about you?
I can’t wait to return… how about you?
Sigh.
A Bientôt!
Just beautiful. I was watching the movie Something’s Got to Give with Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton and some of my favorite scenes are when they are in Paris in the winter time. Your photo of the bridge looks like the same one in the movie.
These photos make me want to pack my bags! Europe in general is my next travel goal…
Gorgeous. I would love to be there this week.
Absolutely gorgeous. It makes me feel like I’m in Paris. Actually I was in Paris last week….Paris Arkansas that is..lol The Christmas lights were beautiful there too. I guess it just depends who you are with. Just wondering what photo editing you use. I love the effect. Thanks for sharing a great post. You look beautiful all gussied up for the Holidays.
One of my New Year’s resolutions is to remember my Google Account sign in information so I can post comments on your blog! I love your blog! We communicated a couple of times through email. (I’m from Colorado.) You inspire my IFG. I found a reproduction Louis 16th couch that’s about 40 years old at a resale shop for $350that had an original price of $1495!! We live on 1.5 acres and this spring I’m going to do the “farmgirl” thing with a garden, chickens and bees!
Love the pictures of Paris. I wanted to go in my 40th year, but didn’t make it.
Happy New Year to you and your sweet family:)
Angela,
Your photos inspired me to do some more alterations on my header, which happens to be the French Pavilion in Versailles, for the holidays…..pop over and check it out when you have time.
Merci for the ideas!
Adrienne
I’ve never been to Paris but I’d love to see this in person for sure…your photos are magical. Thanks so much for sharing them.
Merry Merry,
Stephanie ♥
Oh, ache. Thank you for sharing….I do wonder what in the world you may be up to, but if it has to do with Paris I just can’t wait. I never knew you spent a month in Paris….how dreamy. Thank you for the cookie recipe. Your girlies are dolls and Amelie is a great decorator already. Thanks for sharing the memories, kiddies, cookies and sweet Pah-ree.
So glad you shared your pics of Paris. I like the way the pictures have borders. Neat effect.
I would love to return to Paris when I could spend a week or two there. When I visited 6 years ago we were only there for about 3 days and I was ill. Took in as much as I could.
It’s like a dream now.
May you have a delightful Christmas in the States!

I just said to my husband last night, “I am so ready to go back to Paris!” An afternoon in front of a cafe, a croque monsieur, a glass of Champagne and all will be right with the world.
sigh
Loved my little visit to a snowy Paris, via your photos…when I was a teenager I wanted to be a starving artist in a garret in Paris…ahhhh to be young and hungry in the City of Light!!!
LOVE your Paris photos Angela! I went to Paris 11 years ago..when my son was only 3 weeks old..got a breast infection from nursing..hubby had to find a French doctor..spent the rest of the time in the cramped hotel(attic) room…LOL..did get to enjoy the Eiffel Tower though. And the view from my cramped hotel (attic)room was nice!! HUGS~ Rachel

Dreamy photos…love what you did with them! You’re right, the snow doesn’t look anything like that around here….
