It almost pains me to talk about Christmas… I have so “moved on” and we are in the full swing of Homeschooling again and cleaning out drawers and closets, planning gardens and dreaming of spring but I just had to share my fav’s from Christmas (not including those I already posted of LeeLee’s Birthday)… I figure it’s not in bad taste… since the Epiphany has not been celebrated yet. How fond these memories are for me… with three chickens around the tree it’s starting to feel like the big family I have wanted my entire life… just to see them, so excited, helps me remember how magical the time of year really is in the eyes of a child… the kids slept by the tree on Amélie’s birthday, Christmas Eve… I thought they were going to burst with pleasure… the wonderful times we had on our individual “dates” with them… I can’t believe I forgot to include those photos in the slideshow… Aidan’s joy over a new set of homemade pajamas… Juliette’s first Christmas and that of my darling, darling niece Sofia too.
These memories are treasures for my heart.
Christmas Day Memories

What a beautiful video! I miss the days of having little ones at Christmas. Its so exciting to experience the season through their wide, expecting eyes. My youngest who is 14 (FOURTEEN!) stayed up until 3 am on Christmas Eve to cut out and hang snowflakes all around the house since we didn’t get any of the real stuff. What a wonderful surprise!
We are truly blessed, aren’t we?
JUST FABULOUS!!! I don’t mind that it is after Christmas, as we celebrate all year round, right!;-)
Your family is just precious, PRECIOUS! And you captured it just perfectly! 🙂 I love the picture of J at 1:46. Your PJ’s are perfect for you too! 😉 Your Mom’s table setting was very pretty too! Everything just put a smile on my face… It is wonderful to see such a close knit family at Christmastime. I wish you could do a “how to” on how you did that video… I really need to learn how myself. Great job.
Excited for your family and the upcoming wedding too! I know how much our family treasured the event with my brother a couple of weeks ago.
I don’t always get a chance to comment so I’m leaving everything on this one. Loved the engagement photos~Great job! A’s birthday~Just Precious~loved that you dressed up, that will be such a wonderful memory for her. Stopped by Walgreens on purpose to look at your phto shoot in the RC Mag.~Fantastic! And how exciting for you! I envisioned the entire movie of “Ruth” in my head by your description~It would be fantastic! And I hope you have found your lipstick by now!! 😉
Homeschooling is in full swing here too! We recieved some wonderful books at Christmas and we are just devouring them!
Have a wonderful day!

It’s adorable how they slept by the tree on Christmas Eve 🙂
So Sweet
Oh, was that SWEET or what?! I loved it and the joy of your CHRISTmas came through. I have to tell you, I made that pajama pattern all my kids’ lives, every year, with new flannel for each Christmas. And do you know what Jamie wants for Levi as soon as the pattern will fit him? Those little pajamas she remembers, and I cannot wait!
This was a beautiful video, one you will always treasure as the family grows. How special of you to share it with us.
XOXO
Joni
Love your Christmas memories. It is kind of a let down when it’s all over. Here lately I’ve noticed how fast my children are growing up. All of a sudden my little boy is 16 and my little baby girl is 11. Time flies, I’m trying to remember every minute!
