Black and White Sunday

Aug 30, 2009 | Full Time Family | 5 comments

This is me shaking off my frustration expressed in Fridays post…trying to prepare my heart for worship tomorrow (today, Sunday).
Trying to focus on the bounty of God’s goodness and His Grace. What a wonderful way to remember his blessings…a wagon full of onions and my two beautiful chickens!
Have a blessed Sunday.
Psalm 100
Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his [a] ; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

I don’t think I’ll make it to church until next weekend, but it was good to be reminded that this is the day the Lord has made. It’s up to us to rejoice and be glad in it!

Have a beautiful day, my lovely, smart, conservative, and godly friend.

That’s a lovely photo! Isn’t it grand how re-focusing on worship takes away all of our frustrations of the week? I find that it helps me so much to clean my slate and start off the week refreshed and centered.
