The French Elements Giveaway!

OK girls – it’s about time for a giveaway!

Parisienne Farmgirl Magazine advertiser “The French Elements” has generously offered to do a giveaway here on Parisienne Farmgirl and I am very excited to share this with you!
I’d love to tell you all about Barbara and her shop “The French Elements” but I think I will let her share with you a bit of her story…
“Let me take you back in time.  Having had the opportunity to live in Europe as a young adult, I fell for the people, the markets, and the European way of decorating.
While the style varied a bit by country, one element rang true throughout – An old world style and charm.

In the markets I visited, I purchased many decorative items and unique bath and body products.  The items purchased for my home held fabulous memories and the body care items inspired me to make my own.  Long story short…. I came back to the U.S. and started a long career with Clinique as a Regional Education Manager.  We relocated three times and the schedule was very hectic.  Through it all, I still found time to create my products in the kitchen.  This was therapeutic for me.   Years later, I was still making products and started an online boutique THE FRENCH ELEMENTS.
Change can be very good for the soul and The French Elements has evolved. The focus is on old world inspired treasures, both found and created. My soul sings when I find or make that special something.

Over the years, I have been blessed by being able to travel both professionally and personally.  I tried when possible to combine my love of travel with the thrill of finding interesting items.  I have always enjoyed browsing through one of a kind boutiques and markets large and small.  You never know what you will find.”

Barbara’s treasures are sweet, unique and very affordable!
Tell you what – Pop on over and go “like” them on Facebook, comeback and tell me all about it and I will enter you in a drawing to win this darling Christmas stocking!  That’s right – you can enter twice!  This giveaway will run until next Thursday at midnight – feel free to help us spread the word!

Meanwhile on the Farm…

Going to pick up sixteen chickens this weekend!!!
Obviously – I am swamped or else I would have a post up already – how can I say to my family, as we are all working so hard, “Hey, can you excuse me?  I need to go spend some time on the computer?”  Hahaha.  Not gonna happen.  All I will say is, remember that Rainbow Brite carpeting in the living room?  Well… can you say creamy white painted wood floors???

I can.

What I liked the very most were her photographs of places and ‘things’. All of the stockings she photographed were beautiful. Thank you to both of you for the giveaway.
