Marco Rubio was pretty awesome as well.Blessings,Lorilee
I loved it when Eastwood said: We own this country!" Some other things were pretty funny that I won't repeat! They were all good, I'm pretty excited right now..I do believe we just might get our country back..God Bless America! xo
seriously. we have freakin' clint eastwood AND chuck norris in our corner...how could they beat that???!
I had tears and goosebumps and was cheering and applauding all night! Prayers, prayers and more prayers!
Clint had it goin on last night...yes!,we OWN THIS COUNTRY and the POLITICIANS WORK for US! Roxie
Your kidding right??? the comment we own this country I took as old, white, rich men, because that's all they got.. Romney/Ryan scare the crap out of me, not only me as a woman, sure hope no probe is near by, but the middle class will no longer be middle if they are in. I don't understand how someone can say they love this country yet, keep their money overseas?? He wants the rich to benefit from all the tax breaks and pay for it by the middle class and poor, not will do to that. Is Pres. Obama the best canditate, maybe not, but he has tried to bring jobs back but has been blocked every step of the way, not one jobs plan has the GOP put forth. Where's Romney's job plan, didn't here him say anything about how his going to bring jobs back, yet he will bring 12 million back, how?? Mr. Romney, his whole experiance has been to distory jobs in this country, send them overseas and give the profits to the CEO's, yeah!! just what we need..
Clint was funny and he made some excellent points. He is smarter and better looking at 82 than most people are at any age.
Hey back at you! I loved it. Thank you for sharing-even with mean girls.xo, lissy
I was excited about Clint's speech all day long yesterday and he didn't disappoint! Yes, we DO own this country. Handouts are not the American way.Have a fabulous weekend,Julie
I began following Presidential conventions beginning with the Republican one in Miami in 1968 which I attended. In 1972 both the GOP and Democrats held their conventions in Miami. I was astonished at the difference. I am still astonished now. This week the GOP candidates presented themselves, their families, backgrounds and heritages. One after another, the presenters, even those who admitted to being a "liberal Democrat", gave testimony about Mitt Romney's morals and integrity. On the other hand, after four years in office we still know nothing about our current President. Let us work hard and pray hard that the voters of our country open their eyes and see that socialism has not worked anywhere, and it will destroy America. Unlike Mr. Obama's pastor, we pray, "God BLESS America!"
I think this was about the best damn GOP Convention I have ever witnessed! Love our future President and Vice President!!
Amen Sister! It was a great convention and there were awesome, inspiring speeches, and damn right, we own this country and we want it back!!!!
The best GOP convention ever and our next Pres and VP have given me hope when truly hope was nearly lost. The total lack of transparency of the current gang and their thuggery has left me terrified for our country but we do OWN this country because we have worked hard and not expected the taxpayers to pay for our birth control pills!!!!
I enjoyed the whole week! I was inspired and my hope was renewed. :)Now, it's time for a big change. Come on, November!
Hubby took me on a date today to see 2016 Obama's America, I highly recommend it....And...'K' who commented, sounds like she could use some 'enlightening' so she might want to make a special effort to attend so she has some 'new' material to work with.My feelings won't be hurt if you don't publish this comment..I couldn't help myself.Have a great weekend! xo
I'm kind of stuck between the two. Paul Ryan is too young and Clint Eastwood is too old.Oh, well I'll just sit back and enjoy them both.
The GOP does not have the market cornered on family values, Christianity, and love of country. It is ignorant to think so.
Angela, how did I totally missed this. I will have to find some YouTube clips. Now this is random but I just watched a show that if you have not caught it you should: Duck Dynasty. So funny and sweet. The Robertsons are the family of faith that own a duck call co. called Duck Commander and the reality show follows the family in their normal/hilarious/endearing days. I just thought you would be encouraged and have a laugh or two.

It was a funny, quick blog post about how so many ladies are googly eyed over Paul Ryan - Second of all - when the majority of democrats DON'T vote for the right to RIP A BABY FROM THE WOMB... to burn it's body with saline... to rip it apart with a vacuum ... well, then you can call me about the market on Christianity and family values. To believe that you can vote for someone who would allow a baby to die on his or her watch (of serving this country) and still claim some sort of Christianity or family values is what's ignorant.http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2012/june/pro-life-dems-dwindle.html
You are exactly right-on, Farmgirl! If the American people were to watch an actual partial birth abortion, very few would endorse it. It is a real live baby and abortion is murder for the sake of convenience. May God have mercy on our country. On a lighter note, Clint Eastwood was awsome and has more intellect and class in his cowlick than BO could ever hope to have.
