Secession Anyone?

I read once, there are a bunch of islands for sale in the Caribbean.
Let's just all pitch in, buy one, and start over.

Honestly.

Can I, as an individual, secede from the Union?
Anyone with me?

:)

Oh, yes, please.
I've been lukewarm on Romney, but if he follows through on his promise, made this morning, of repeal of this wretched Obamacare, then I'll enthusiastically vote for him.
P.S.
It would be nice to live near you and your little cuties.

Sure, if you think you can secede from the IRS. Let me know if you figure out how to do that.

We're all in this together..let's stick together.

Oh, and I will be stocking up on baking supplies, if people think this is just about Health Insurance they are sadly mistaken. The controllers will love this one and Big Brother will be telling you what you will be eating..For the good of all of us, of course!!!!!!!

They will soon tax food and if you think you might get that extra row in the garden and grow all of your food..I might remind you there are States right now that restrict people from collecting water that comes down from the sky..yes, you heard me right. Those collection barrels that you put on your downspouts...hmm, we can pray for RAIN all of the time.

Priscilla - Romney doesn't do much for me either but I've always been an ABO kind of a girl.
Sherri - I totally believe you about the water collecting... I've seen those stories. Around here we've got the crazy senator Dick Durban who wanted to make it harder, if not illegal to grown veggies in your own garden! (Senate Bill S.510)
Idiots.

Ladies, the people of the USA will not stand for this much longer. However, all of us have to deal with those in our country illegally, whom the Dems court btw because they may get more votes, who want everything FREE. They get FREE and WE PAY. We pay for them to get everything free by way of taxes, and we actually spend our own money for all the services like healthcare, food, schooling, and believe it or not, we pay for utilities, gasoline etc. Did you guys know there are welfare programs that give those people cash cards for those expenses?
Let's revisit what Justice John Roberts said, maybe it was his way of making the point that the country voted for the wrong person?

It would undoubtedly be a BEAUTIFUL place if we all banded together, now, wouldn't it?

Girl, we Texans have been threatening to do that for DECADES!

We are pretty much a self-sustaining State, so I'm all for it. :-)

I'm in ladies and I'll bring my gardening tools and my rain barrel. (they'll pry it out of my cold dead hands!)
Just think what a beautiful place we could make to live!

Just in time to celebrate "dependence day." I used to think people would say enough. I fear most people don't have a clue about what we just lost. This is depressing.

It's refreshing to know there are like minded people out there. Now convince all your friends and family to vote the right way!

Texas has been doing better economically than many states so far. I'm worried that won't be the case much longer if those crazy liberals stay in power. I felt nauseated when I heard the supreme court ruling today.
Blessings,

Oh my, what a situation we have found ourselves in! However, don't give up, yet. Justice Roberts has, in my opinion after listening to countless opinions, provided the American people the opportunity to set things back on course in Nov. I didn't say "right" because it will take more than Mr. Romney to accomplish that. While the court ruled on the constitutionality of the bill, it did not say that it was a good bill, reasonable, or Fair. Fair, is now a swear word to me. So what can we do? Don't give up. Educate friends and family about the realities of this bill and how it will be the beginning of the total destruction of the American way. Our youth have been brainwashed. Just read the sewing blogs sponsored by the young, wide eyed, well intentioned women so popular today. They don't understand. But they will soon. God help us.

I'm sorry to go on, I am on the verge of livid.

Sure, I am with you! Especially if it gets me out of the gloom of the PNW. Between the news and weather, I am sorely in need of something. This is getting ridiculous.
When do we move?
